The Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer
Protection Act of 2005, signed into law April 20, 2005, has
brought some changes to filing bankruptcy. The new law requires,
among other things, consumers to receive credit counseling and financial
education prior to filing for bankruptcy. Once you have successfully
completed these requirements you will be given a certificate to
recognize your completion of them.
ABCS* will provide you with
the counseling and education required to earn your Pre-Bankruptcy
Certificate.

Internet Counseling:
Internet initial signup, budget development module, educational
module, counseling assistance via telephone

Joint filers in same internet session.

* Services will be provided without regard to ability to pay the above stated fees. CCCI will consider the reduction/elimination of the fees depending on the specific circumstances of the client.
