Approved Bankruptcy Certification Services* is a non-profit organization that has been providing credit counseling services with certified counselors since 1997. The purpose of this site is to assist Consumers and Attorneys in dealing with the new Bankruptcy law, Bankruptcy Abuse Prevention and Consumer Protection Act of 2005, which took effect in October, 2005. Approved Bankruptcy Certification Services* (ABCS) has established a program that will allow ABCS to issue certificates in compliance with the Bankruptcy code. Approval does not endorse or assure the quality of an Agency's services. This will assist Consumers and Attorneys, with staying on top of the required Pre Bankruptcy Education process, and the issuance of pre-bankruptcy certificates.
